The Jan Marini Peel System is an excellent facial treatment for: anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation and redness.
Its primary ingredients are Lactic acid, Salicylic acid and Citric acid. What Is Dermapen? What Areas Can It Treat?
The Dermapen is a microneedling device that tightens and rejuvenates damaged skin by initiating the body’s natural healing response. This is done with tiny medical-grade needles at the base of the device creating controlled micro-channels in the skin. This microneedling device resembles a pen for total control during the treatment, and therefore, better results. The Dermapen allows the physician to easily maneuver around any facial contour and delicate features such as the eyes, nose, and mouth.

The Dermapen is mostly used on the face and/or body to treat:

- Avoid washing your face for the first 6 hours. You can wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer thereafter.
- After the therapy, nothing topical should be applied for at least 90 minutes. Your skin will be pink or red in appearance for the first 24 to 48 hours.
- Do not exfoliate at least for 7 days.
- Avoid direct sunlight for at least 7 days.
- Ensure you have proper sun protection whenever you are out in the sun.
- Avoid swimming or jogging in the rain for at least 72 hours.
- No vigorous exercise for first 72 hours.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory medication pre and post treatment.
- Do not apply makeup for at least 6 hours after the procedure.
HOW LONG THE PROCELL THERAPY LASTS, NEED MORE TREATMENT?
Procell therapy can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years, depending on clients age and lifestyle. For light anti-aging treatments, 1 to 2 treatments may be sufficient, for deeper wrinkles & scarring, you may require 4 to 6 treatments to achieve the desired results. An interval of 3 to 4 weeks between treatments is typically recommended and you can see the results 2-3 weeks after your treatment.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROCHANNELING AND MICRONEEDLING?
Procell Microchanneling therapy is the next generation of Microneedling. The main difference between the two therapies is the type of device used to perform the treatment as well as the technique that is used. Microneedling therapy involves using a handheld “roller” covered in tiny needles that is dragged over the skin which can actually tear the skin. Procell Microchanneling therapy, on the other hand, uses a “stamping” technique, which creates micro vertical channels into the skin for better and deeper product penetration & less trauma to the skin.

The vampire facial takes microneedling to the next level, using your own blood’s special healing cells to improve your skin tone and smooth out any imperfections. Let’s take a look at how it works…
What Is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
In this setting, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is derived from a small sample of your own blood. PPR is used because it contains a variety of growth factors and other beneficial proteins.
On the day of your treatment, a small sample of blood will be drawn and then spun in a centrifuge for roughly 15 minutes.
Centrifugation causes the various components of blood – including platelets – to separate by density. Your clinician will then extract the PRP in order to harness its powerful skin-healing effects.
How Does Microneedling with PRP Work?
After a small blood draw, your clinician will apply a topical anesthetic to your face. Then they’ll pass over it with a microneedling pen or derma-roller. These devices prick tiny holes in your skin, stimulating its natural healing processes – and creating channels for the PRP. In addition, the tiny breaks in the skin stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin which allows for facial rejuvenation by reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles and scars.
The microneedling portion of the procedure typically takes about 30 minutes – giving your clinician plenty of time to centrifugate that blood sample into PRP.
Next, your clinician will massage the PRP into the treated areas of the skin.. This helps the platelets and beneficial growth factors in PRP penetrate deep into your skin so they can work their rejuvenating magic.
Finally, your clinician will apply a balm to your face to reduce redness and irritation. The treatment usually takes less than two hours in total, and it has little to no downtime. Many patients return to work the next day.

HOW DOES PROCELL MICROCHANNELING WORKS?

- Pregnancy
- Diabetes (due to problems with healing), hemophilia, bleeding disorders

- Cardiac abnormalities

- Any active inflammatory skin condition (such as eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site – it may further aggravate the condition)

- Avoid washing your face for the first 6 hours. You can wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer thereafter.
- After the therapy, nothing topical should be applied for at least 90 minutes. Your skin will be pink or red in appearance for the first 24 to 48 hours.
- Do not exfoliate at least for 7 days.
- Avoid direct sunlight for at least 7 days.
- Ensure you have proper sun protection whenever you are out in the sun.
- Avoid swimming or jogging in the rain for at least 72 hours.
- No vigorous exercise for first 72 hours.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory medication pre and post treatment.
- Do not apply makeup for at least 6 hours after the procedure.
HOW LONG THE PROCELL THERAPY LASTS, NEED MORE TREATMENT?
Procell therapy can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years, depending on clients age and lifestyle. For light anti-aging treatments, 1 to 2 treatments may be sufficient, for deeper wrinkles & scarring, you may require 4 to 6 treatments to achieve the desired results. An interval of 3 to 4 weeks between treatments is typically recommended and you can see the results 2-3 weeks after your treatment.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROCHANNELING AND MICRONEEDLING?
Procell Microchanneling therapy is the next generation of Microneedling. The main difference between the two therapies is the type of device used to perform the treatment as well as the technique that is used. Microneedling therapy involves using a handheld “roller” covered in tiny needles that is dragged over the skin which can actually tear the skin.
